Track wheel hub FlipFlop T64FF
The FlipFlop T64FF track hub was developed from the tried-and-tested high-flange track hub used in track cycling. This hub has been optimized for racing. Thanks to the polygons on both sides, two ratios can be permanently mounted on the wheel and easily changed by turning. The bearings used are optimized for particularly smooth running and are not sealed.
The lockring holds the sprocket securely on the hub. With its classic, simple and elegant design, the hub is a real eye-catcher on any bike. On request, the hub can be laser-engraved with your name or club.
The target group for this track bike hub is specifically young cyclists on the track. This is because the young athletes can change the wheel themselves between two gear ratios without the help of a trainer or coach.
Die Bahnradnabe FlipFlop T64FF ist eine kostengünstige Variante zur Hochflanschnabe. In Sachen Leichtlauf steht diese Nabe der Hochflanschnabe nichts nach. Lediglich der Flansch ist etwas verkleinert. Diese Nabe hat dennoch eine hohe Steifigkeit, weil die Nabenflansche „hohl“ gedreht und nach innen geneigt sind. Damit sind die Flansche an den Speichenwinkel angepasst.
Bei doppelt gekreuzter Speichung liegen die außen angeordneten Speichen am Flansch und werden nicht so stark über den Flansch gebogen, wie dies bei geraden Flanschen geschieht. Ein „Setzen“ der Speichen wird dadurch deutlich minimiert.

The sprocket is mounted via a form-fit polygon. This means that the hub does not have a thread for the sprocket and that no great effort is required to change the sprocket, as the polygonal sprocket is simply slipped on and secured with the lockring.
The matching sprockets are usually available from 13 to 18 teeth. The sprockets are optimized for the IZUMI chains.
