Wheel set retrofitting
Retrofitting with a new set of hubs is a sustainable approach to conserving resources while improving your bike's performance.

There are many reasons why retrofitting the wheel set with good carbon rims makes economic and practical sense:
- Customizations
The existing hub no longer fits the new bike
- Sustainability
Replacement of defective or worn components, because the current hubs can no longer be repaired.
- Maintenance of high-quality components
Carbon rims are often high-quality and expensive components. If they are still in good condition, their lifespan can be extended.
Included in the price:
- Removal of the spokes of the wheel
- Determining the spoke lengths for the supplied rims for the selected hub
- Rebuild the wheel with new Sapim Race spokes and Secure Lock nipples
(other spokes or nipples possible by arrangement).
- Checking the spoke tension
- Checking the concentricity
- Packaging and shipping within Germany
The price does not include the wheel hub set, which must be ordered separately. We're happy to help.
Delivery condition:
- Tires, tubes and rim tape removed
- Sprocket block and brake disks removed
- When used tubeless, the sealant milk is removed
- Wheel set cleaned
If you request that we dismantle the used components, we reserve the right to increase the price to cover the costs of this work.
However, at least 30 EUR. We will discuss any additional work that is necessary with you before it is carried out.
