The T80V track bike hub is a highly specialized component for ambitious cyclists on the track.

The T80V enables power savings of 3-6 watts compared to conventional track bike hubs.

Innovative hub flange design:

A key feature of the T80V are the inward-sloping hub flanges, which are turned exactly at the spoke angle.
This design prevents the spokes from being bent over the flange, which reduces the bending stress on the spoke heads. This prevents the spoke heads from settling and the spoke tension remains constant. Under normal use, there is no need for re-centering, which ensures the long-term reliability and performance of the wheel.

Maintenance and durability:

On the velodrome, the T80V is practically maintenance-free, as it is equipped with specially selected industrial bearings with lifetime lubrication. The only thing that is crucial for optimal performance and durability is the correct adjustment of the bearing play, which is individually adjustable on this hub.

Use in competition:

The T80V does not require any special approval for competitions and has already proven itself at international races. Its weight plays a subordinate role on the velodrome, since there are no inclines to overcome and inertia is of little importance due to the central position in the wheel. Instead, the focus is on efficiency and rigidity.

Variants and customizations:

For road use, in particular for fixie riders, the identical S80V variant is available with sealed bearings. This is optimized for the requirements of road cycling.
