Fixie road hub FlipFlop S64FF
The FlipFlop S64FF rear fixie road hub was originally developed for track cycling. This hub is optimized for daily use on the road. Thanks to the polygons on both sides, two ratios can be permanently mounted on the wheel and easily changed by turning. The bearings used are sealed.
The lockring holds the sprocket securely on the hub even when skidding. With its classic, simple and elegant design, the hub is a real eye-catcher on any bike. On request, the hub can be personalized with a laser-engraved name or club.
The FlipFlop S64FF fixie road hub is a cost-effective alternative to the high-flange hub. In terms of smooth running, this hub is in no way inferior to the high-flange hub. Only the flange is slightly smaller. Nevertheless, this hub has a high level of rigidity because the hub flanges are turned "hollow" and inclined inwards. This means that the flanges are adapted to the spoke angle.
With double-crossed spokes, the outer spokes lie on the flange and are not bent over the flange as much as with straight flanges. This significantly minimizes "settling" of the spokes.
This reduces the forces on the flange.

Dimensions for spoke calculation rear wheel FlipFlop:

Flange distance from left: 29 mm
Flange distance from right: 29 mm
Flange distance: 62 mm
Spoke hole Ø: 2.4 mm

(observe the maximum spoke tension for the spokes and rims used)
The sprocket is mounted via a form-fit polygon. This means that the hub does not have a thread for the sprocket and that no great effort is required to change the sprocket, as the polygonal sprocket is simply slipped on and secured with the lockring.
The matching sprockets are usually available from 13 to 18 teeth. The sprockets are optimized for the IZUMI chains.
