Rear fixie road hub S64
TheFixie rear road hub S64 was originally developed for track cycling. This hub is optimized for daily use on the road. The bearings used are sealed for daily use even in harsh conditions.
The lockring holds the sprocket securely on the hub even when skidding.
The S64 rear fixie road hub is a cost-effective alternative to the high-flange hub. In terms of smooth running, this hub is in no way inferior to the high-flange hub. Only the flange is slightly smaller. This hub still has a high level of rigidity because the hub flanges are turned "hollow" and inclined inwards. This means that the flanges are adapted to the spoke angle.
With double-crossed spokes, the outer spokes lie on the flange and are not bent over the flange as much as with straight flanges. This significantly minimizes "settling" of the spokes.
This reduces the forces on the flange.

Dimensions for spoke calculation rear wheel:
Bolt circle spokes: 53 mm
Flange distance from left: 17.5 mm
Flange distance from right: 29.5 mm
Flange distance: 73 mm
Spoke hole Ø: 2.4 mm
Spoke tension: max 1200N
(observe the maximum spoke tension for the spokes and rims used)
The sprocket is mounted via a form-fit polygon. This means that the hub does not have a thread for the sprocket and that no great effort is required to change the sprocket, as the polygonal sprocket is simply slipped on and secured with the lockring.
The matching sprockets are usually available from 13 to 18 teeth. The sprockets are optimized for the IZUMI chains.
