Wheelset road bike HP64RCL Centerlock Heuer
This Heuer HP64RCL Centerlock road bike wheelset meets the requirements of ambitious athletes and racers on the road. With 50 mm high rims, it impresses with first-class aerodynamics and high lateral stiffness.
At the heart of the wheelset is the stable and rigid Heuer hub set with smooth-running industrial bearings. The wheel hubs are characterized by the precision of the manufactured bearing seats and the solid axles.
Our aim is to save weight, but not in the areas that are necessary for stability and durability.
Overall, this is the "easiest" way to save watts.
For this purpose, we use CFRP rims with particularly high-quality carbon fibers, which increases the fiber volume proportion and reduces the rotating mass of the wheels due to the lower use of resin.
The HP variant stands out due to two special features:
- We install our particularly smooth-running bearings with an adjacent seal.
- The front wheel is spoked asymmetrically: 12 spokes double-crossed on the left, 6 spokes radial on the right.
This means that braking forces are transmitted on the left and weight is saved on the right due to the reduced number of spokes.
The HP64RCL front wheel in the tubeless ready version has passed the UCI impact test and is on the official "List of UCI approved wheels".
