The Tour de Berlin - International Youngsters Race took place over 3 stages. With the Tempelhof Airport, the streets on the Olympic Stadium and the Karl-Marx-Allee attractive event locations were generated.
Tempelhof Airport - Before the former airport became a rock concert arena again at the weekend, the U13 and U15 cyclists rocked the former runways of the legendary Tempelhof Airport. The opening stage of the Tour de Berlin for the International Youngsters Race started with the team time trial.
Olympic Stadium - When Jens Voigt sent the first starters onto the time trial circuit in the morning in front of the magnificent backdrop of the Olympic Stadium, it seemed as if the weather gods would once again allow the young racers to have a dry race, just like on Friday. In the afternoon, during the circuit races, the conditions became a little wetter, which required the riders to pay more attention.
Karl-Marx-Allee - Kristina Vogel sent the young athletes onto the course for the final stage with a starting signal. On the last day on the legendary Karl-Marx-Allee, the battle for the jerseys was once again exciting. The special thing about this stage tour is that the female and male classes are judged separately for the jerseys.
