Wheelset Gravel EQ64X6L 6-bolt Heuer

The Gravel EQ64X6L 6-bolt wheelset was developed for demanding use on unpaved paths and trails. It is aimed at anyone looking for a lightweight yet reliable wheelset for gravel riding and bikepacking.

At the heart of the wheelset is the stable and stiff Heuer hub set with smooth-running industrial bearings: Heuer X64V and Heuer X64. The wheel hubs are characterized by the precision of the manufactured bearing seats and the stable axles.

Our aim is to save weight, but not in the areas that are necessary for stability and durability.
Overall, this is the "easiest" way to save watts.
For this purpose, we use CFRP rims with particularly high-quality carbon fibers, which increases the fiber volume proportion and reduces the rotating mass of the wheels due to the lower use of resin.

The EQ version offers a good compromise between stability and lightweight construction. We achieve this through:

• High-quality, lightweight carbon rim
• 28 spokes for a robust wheel
• Steel axle in the rear wheel for more stability
• Maximum system weight: 125 kg

The following options are available on request:

• Setup for 5 mm quick release instead of thru axle
• Colored hubs available on request, partly in stock
• Tubular rim instead of tubeless ready
• Smooth-running bearings with adjacent seal
• Can be fitted with Centerlock brake disc mount instead of 6-hole

Rims:

• 30 mm rim height, 23 mm width
• High proportion of high-quality carbon fibers for reduced rotating mass
• Hookless rim for low weight and high stability
• Important: Hookless rims are only compatible with tubeless-ready tires. The tire manufacturer's maximum tire pressure must be strictly adhered to. Mounting is possible both tubeless and with an inner tube, but the tire must always be tubeless-ready.

• Inclined flanges to minimize the spoke load
• Precise CNC production in Aichwald
• Adjustable bearing play for silky smooth running

Freewheel options:

• Support for various standards (Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo)
• Selectable freewheel angles: 12° (30 clicks), 6° (60 clicks), 3° (120 clicks)
• E-bike version with reinforced freewheel available

Wheel design:

• Tubeless Ready for improved grip and riding comfort
• Asymmetrical rim design with 28 spokes for optimized lateral stiffness and even spoke tension
